Job summary

Universal Technical Institute seeks a Manager Business Office to oversee campus operations, focusing on compliance, accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional student service across student accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, purchasing, and campus inventory.

You will lead a high-performance team, ensure GAAP adherence, collaborate with Financial Aid, and maintain professional office systems while supervising staff and driving key performance metrics.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a business office environment.
• Minimum three years of online higher education experience preferred.
• GAAP knowledge and professional office systems experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiating and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus business office operations with focus on compliance, accuracy and student service.
• Lead student collections efforts and manage payment plans.
• Process accounts payable, invoices and aging reports.
• Manage inventory of textbooks and supplies on campus.
• Process student account transactions and provide customer service.
• Coordinate with Financial Aid on cancellations and aid adjustments.
• Support adherence to accounting standards in collaboration with Campus Support Center.
• Lead and develop a high-performance staff with training and performance management.
