Job summary

Epic is based just outside Madison, Wisconsin, and offers relocation assistance for this Operations Center Technician role. You will monitor real-time alerts, manage access and security across Epic's campuses, and oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center.

You will respond to incidents using video feeds and data, coordinating with internal teams and emergency services to restore normal operations quickly.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field.
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time alerts and manage access and security systems from the Facilities Command Center.
• Coordinate emergency responses and liaise with internal teams and emergency services.
• Oversee building operations and ensure safe environment and rapid restoration of normal operations.
• Use video feeds and system data to identify issues and respond accordingly.
• Support business continuity across Epic's campuses through proactive monitoring.
• Assist with security operations and incident response planning.
• Adhere to safety and non-discrimination policies and participate in ongoing training.
