Job summary

Epic is seeking an Operations Center Technician to monitor real-time alerts, manage access and security systems, and oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center to sustain business continuity. The role requires flexibility for 2nd/3rd shifts and weekend work, with relocation assistance to Madison, WI.

You will respond to incidents using video feeds and system data, coordinate with internal teams and emergency services, and help restore normal operations quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available)
• COVID-19 vaccination

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time alerts and manage access and security systems from the Facilities Command Center
• Oversee building operations to ensure business continuity across Epic's campuses
• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data
• Coordinate emergency responses with internal teams and emergency services
• Help restore normal operations quickly and effectively in disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages
