ICW Group, headquartered in San Diego, seeks a litigation representative to attend hearings, depositions, and resolve workers’ compensation disputes. The role focuses on reducing loss adjustment expenses and proactively analyzing claims to improve outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of workers’ compensation experience, with strong knowledge of CA laws and excellent negotiation skills. This hybrid role involves travel up to 20 hours weekly.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of workers' compensation experience required, with claims examiner experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of claims processes and the insurance industry.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret legal/ regulatory documents including CA Labor Code.

Responsabilidades

• Manages litigation and claim disputes for workers’ compensation claims.
• Represents ICW Group at claim hearings and WCAB conferences.
• Prepares pleadings, reports, and settlement documents in accordance with regulations.
• Attends depositions and submits Hearing Reports to claims personnel.
• Provides guidance to other departments and collaborates with Claims Examiner.
