ICW Group in Southern California is hiring a Hearing Representative to attend hearings, depositions, and manage disputes related to workers’ compensation claims. The role focuses on reducing expenses and improving outcomes by proactive claim resolution, with hybrid field/office duties in San Diego, CA.

The incumbent will leverage knowledge of claims, the CA Labor Code, and industry best practices to represent ICW Group at WCAB hearings, coordinate settlements, and prepare required legal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in workers' compensation required; claims examiner experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of claims and insurance industry; familiarity with CA Labor Code and CA Code of Regulations.

Responsabilités

• Attend claim hearings representing ICW Group and manage litigation and disputes in workers' compensation.
• Prepare and submit hearing reports, pleadings, and settlement documents.
• Negotiate resolutions and assist with depositions, court filings, and trial preparation.
• Provide guidance to other departments and coordinate with claims examiners.
