ICW Group seeks an experienced attorney to handle all aspects of workers’ compensation matters and provide litigation and advisory services across the company. The role emphasizes proactive case handling, strategic defense, and collaboration with claims personnel.

The ideal candidate has a JD, CA bar, and 5–8 years of WC litigation experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills. Office-based role in a multi-location firm with travel to court locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required (CA).
• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school required; CA bar in good standing.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice law in California; experience before state and federal courts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of assigned Workers’ Compensation matters.
• Litigates workers’ compensation cases before state and federal courts and administrative boards.
• Develops defense strategies and provides strategic legal advice to claims personnel.
• Directs paralegals and legal staff in duties related to assigned matters.
• Ensures timely filing of pleadings, motions, and court documents.
