Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support California and other regions remotely. The role covers employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, and compliance with CA wage-and-hour laws, CFRA/PDL, and PAGA. A strong background in HRIS, MS Office, and confidentiality is required along with 5+ years of HR experience.

PHR/SHRM-CP preferred. Must have a Bachelor's in HR or related field and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage and hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California compliance.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; help develop and implement policies and employee handbook.
• Develop department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions as needed.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in staff meetings and seminars.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports from the database.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and benefits regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
