Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a seasoned Development & Construction Leader in Seattle to manage café openings, remodels, and relocations. You will coordinate with franchisees and internal teams, drive schedules, and ensure adherence to brand standards and budgets.

The ideal candidate combines construction project management with strong franchisee relationship skills, a business mindset, and experience in fast-paced retail or bakery environments. Frequent travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Business, Hospitality, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management, café/restaurant development, retail development, operations, or a related field.
• Experience managing commercial construction and/or architectural projects in QSR, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similarly fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across a geographically dispersed portfolio.
• Experience with franchise development and/or supporting franchisees preferred.
• Experience with high-volume, multi-unit café or restaurant openings strongly preferred.
• Bakery/café construction and/or operational experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage development process for new, relocated, and remodel café projects from initial test-fit and design development through permitting, construction, final completion, and opening.
• Coordinate with franchisees, marketing, supply chain, and operations to ensure openings meet Paris Baguette standards and timelines.
• Lead general contractors, millwork vendors, sign vendors, and other project partners; manage vendor relationships.
• Develop and manage scopes of work, budgets, cost estimates, delivery requirements, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
• Monitor progress; identify delays, costs, risks; implement action plans to ensure timely openings.
• Provide guidance on prototype, design, construction and development improvements.
• Maintain strong communication with architects, contractors, vendors, franchisees, and internal teams.
• Ensure openings meet brand standards and operational readiness.
