Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a Director of Construction to oversee all facets of café development and openings in the U.S. This role coordinates internal teams with franchisees, vendors, and external partners to keep projects on track, within budget, and aligned with brand standards.

The ideal candidate has seasoned construction and project management experience, strong business acumen, and comprehensive knowledge of café/retail operations. Domestic travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Business, Hospitality, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management, café/restaurant development, retail development, operations, or a related field.
• Experience managing commercial construction and/or architectural projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with franchise development and supporting franchisees is preferred.
• Strong business acumen, including P&L considerations and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of the development process for new, relocated, and remodel café projects from test-fit through opening.
• Guide construction activities to meet design standards, scope, budget and timeline.
• Manage general contractors, millwork vendors, sign vendors and other project partners.
• Develop scopes of work, budgets, schedules and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with franchisees and internal teams to ensure openings meet Paris Baguette standards.
• Lead franchisees through the development and opening process, including onboarding and post-opening support.
