Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a Senior Project Development & Construction Manager to lead cafe development projects across the U.S., from test-fit through openings and grand openings. You will coordinate with internal teams, franchisees, and external vendors to ensure scope, budget, and timelines align with brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction project management within fast-paced retail or bakery environments, strong vendor relations, and a strategic mindset for franchise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Business, Hospitality, Operations, or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
• Experience managing commercial construction and/or architectural projects in QSR, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar fast-paced environments.
• Experience with franchise development and/or supporting franchisees preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of the development process for new, relocated, and remodel café projects, from initial test-fit and design development through permitting, construction, final completion, and opening.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, franchisees, Operations, Development, and support center teams to ensure scope, budget, and timeline compliance.
• Oversee general contractors, millwork vendors, sign vendors, and other partners; foster new vendor relationships as needed.
• Develop and manage scopes of work, budgets, cost estimates, delivery requirements, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
• Monitor progress and identify delays, cost issues, risks, or obstacles that may impact openings.
• Provide recommendations for prototype design and development process improvements; guide franchisees and internal teams to meet standards.
• Establish post-opening support and coordinate follow-up for ongoing café success.
