Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a Senior Construction/Development Manager to oversee cafe projects from test-fit to opening across the U.S. With a goal of 1,000 cafes by 2030, this role coordinates cross-functional teams and franchisee relationships to ensure openings meet brand standards, budgets, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has extensive construction and project management experience in fast-paced retail environments and a strong business acumen to guide multiple openings and remodels

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Business, Hospitality, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management, café/restaurant development, retail development, operations, or a related field.
• Experience managing franchise development and/or supporting franchisees preferred.
• Experience with high-volume, multi-unit café or restaurant openings preferred.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, construction schedules, permitting, design, vendors, and project risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of the development process for new, relocated, and remodel café projects, from initial test-fit and design development through permitting, construction, final completion, and opening.
• Consult and guide construction activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with Paris Baguette design standards, specifications, approved scope, budget, and timeline.
• Manage Paris Baguette preferred general contractors, millwork vendors, sign vendors, and other project partners, including the development of new vendor relationships as needed.
• Develop and manage project scopes of work, budgets, cost estimates, delivery requirements, project schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
• Review project progress regularly and identify potential delays, cost issues, construction risks, or other obstacles that may impact the opening.
• Develop and implement action plans to address project delays and ensure timely completion.
