Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to support transit and multimodal projects. Based in a US office, you will coordinate models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to deliver federated, clash-checked deliverables.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, help enforce CAD/BIM standards, mentor production staff, and interface with clients and agencies to ensure data handoffs meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with CADD training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Equivalent additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage intelligent models across architecture, vertical/ transportation structures, roadway, and MEP.
• Perform clash detection and resolution to ensure clean deliverables.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and model-based deliverables.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on data handoff standards.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for final drawings.
