Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination on transit and multimodal projects, integrating architectural, structural, transportation, roadway and MEP models into a federated, clash-checked deliverable.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, mentor production staff, and establish CADD/BIM standards aligned with transit agency and DOT criteria across offices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD/intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM coordination and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of transit agency and DOT design standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, structures, transportation, roadway and MEP.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and lead issue resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for finished drawings.
• Ensure model integrity and interoperability across Autodesk Bentley toolsets.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
