Job summary

CDM Smith invites applications for an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline model coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP on transit and multimodal projects.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, develop BIM Execution Plans, and ensure adherence to CAD/BIM standards while mentoring staff across offices. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in drafting or modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM coordination and modeling.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline modeling coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and guide resolution across disciplines.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise pursuit teams on LOD and production effort.
• Establish and enforce CAD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for drawings.
