Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical/transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to deliver a single, federated model with clash checks.

You will lead clash detection in Navisworks, enforce BIM standards, and mentor staff across offices while interfacing with clients and agencies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in basic CADD drafting technology
• 12 years of related experience
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required (travel up to 10%)

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP in a federated, clash-checked model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor and train production staff across offices.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
