Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, structures, roadway design, and MEP to deliver a federated, clash-checked model throughout the project lifecycle.

You will lead clash detection in Navisworks, enforce BIM standards, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients and subconsultants to meet model deliverable requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks; resolve conflicts early.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows per Autodesk/DOT criteria.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for finished drawings.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
