Job summary

Sentrycs is seeking a highly motivated Solution Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for the U.S. Sales organization and customers.

The role blends advanced RF/UAS tech with customer engagement, solution design, and field demonstrations to help customers understand, evaluate, and deploy Sentrycs' C-UAS technology. The candidate should be proactive, capable of discussing RF concepts with engineers and executives, and able to collaborate with R&D, delivery, and Customer Success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales.
• Experience selling to government, defense, homeland security, public safety, or critical infrastructure customers.
• Strong problem solving and prioritization skills.
• Solid understanding of IP networking, Ethernet, routing, switching, and network architecture.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with RF communications, wireless networking, and spectrum fundamentals.
• Excellent presentation and customer-facing communication skills.
• Proactive mindset and ability to anticipate customer and company needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with US Sales Leaders as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Design and recommend C-UAS solutions tailored to customer requirements and maintain relationships with prospects.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand mission objectives and system integration needs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept evaluations; build event reports.
• Prepare technical proposals, deployment diagrams, and BOMs for quotes.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and technical compliance matrices.
• Assist customer evaluations, acceptance testing, and field demos nationwide.
• Provide guidance on RF systems, spectrum considerations, and mitigation technologies.
• Coordinate with Product Management to communicate customer requirements and product improvements.
• Support system integration with C2 platforms, radar, EO/IR sensors, and third-party systems.
• Enable channel partners and system integrators with technical design and training.
• Represent the company at trade shows and customer events.
• Stay informed on emerging UAS and c-UAS technologies and regulations.
