Job summary

Verizon Communications is hiring a Business Development Manager to secure contracts with multifamily and rental communities, expanding Verizon Home Internet services. You will engage owners, developers and builders, negotiate marketing and broadband access agreements, and drive top-line growth across Denver and surrounding areas.

You will travel extensively (up to ~75%), forge strategic partnerships, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, leveraging Verizon's network advantages

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience required.
• Frequent travel up to ~75% of the time; valid driver's license.
• Experience with prospecting, sales planning and value-based selling.
• Ability to build credibility with owners, developers and builders in the multi-family market.

Responsibilities

• Secure contracts with MDU/MTU communities to expand Verizon Home Internet reach.
• Initiate face-to-face contact with owners, builders and developers to propose marketing rights.
• Develop new business via telephone and mass communication to introduce Verizon's value proposition.
• Manage sales pipeline and provide dashboards/reports on prospect activity and revenue impact.
• Negotiate contracts and close long-term marketing/Internet service deals on a non-exclusive basis.
