Job summary

Verizon Communications in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Development Manager to secure contracts with MDU/MTU communities, expanding Verizon Home Internet services and marketing rights.

You will cultivate relationships with owners, developers, and builders, lead face-to-face meetings, coordinate with engineering, negotiate non-exclusive marketing and broadband agreements, and drive pipeline growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Secure contracts with MDU/MTU communities to expand Verizon Home Internet services.
• Develop new business via telephone, email and social media to identify buyers.
• Negotiate non-exclusive marketing and broadband/access agreements and close long-term deals.
• Coordinate with local Engineering to secure License Agreements and align with product capabilities.
• Manage and analyze the sales funnel, and present pipeline updates to leadership.
