Job summary

Verizon Communications in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Business Development Manager to secure contracts with multi-dwelling unit and multi-tenant communities for Verizon Home Internet services. You will negotiate, present solutions, and manage a pipeline across owners, developers, and builders.

This role requires 75% travel, a valid driver's license, and strong skills in prospecting, sales planning, and relationship building to drive top-line revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Secure contracts within MDU/MTU communities to expand Verizon Home Internet services.
• Coordinate with local Verizon Engineering to secure License Agreements.
• Initiate face-to-face contact with owners, developers and builders of MDU/MTU properties.
• Develop new business via telephone and mass communication (email/social media).
• Conduct needs analyses to identify buyer pain points and tailor solutions.
• Build and cultivate prospect relationships through on-site tours and discovery sessions.
• Manage data for new and prospective clients in sales databases and keep records current.
• Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
• Negotiate contracts and close long-term deals for marketing of services to renters.
• Represent Verizon’s capabilities in a consultative manner at industry events.
