Motorola Solutions, with its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with SOCOM requirements. This role supports demonstrations, field trials, and network design across tactical edge environments.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years in defense tech or a related field, plus experience with SDRs, IP routing, and scripting. Up to 50% travel and a remote-work option depending on location are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR fields with 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Or a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Bridge technical radio frequency capabilities with USSOCOM requirements and emerging trends.
• Support field trials, modernization efforts, and user evaluations of StreamCaster radios.
• Develop technical demonstrations and end-to-end network architectures for field use.
• Collaborate with engineering and business development to align roadmaps with operational needs.
