WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Riverside, CA office to lead the design of building electrical systems across commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. You will serve as the discipline lead, coordinating with architecture, structural, and MEP teams while delivering compliant, sustainable electrical solutions.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to project planning and BD efforts, and ensure designs meet NEC, California Building Code, and energy codes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience focused on building systems design.
• Demonstrated experience leading electrical system designs for commercial, institutional, civic, mixed-use, higher education, and other general building projects.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC, California Building Code, energy codes, and applicable industry standards.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical analysis and design software.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and engineering of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, and specialty disciplines.
• Prepare and oversee the development of engineering calculations, technical specifications, reports, construction documents, and cost estimates.
• Interface directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior engineers and designers.
