WSP Global Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Property and Buildings Team.

You will provide high‑level electrical design and consulting for infrastructure, building, and construction projects, guiding the development from concept through procurement and construction. The role requires 7–10 years of post‑education experience, strong knowledge of electrical design, leadership, QA/QC, and the ability to coordinate with owners, sub‑consultants, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• LEED and PMP credentials are advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical infrastructure design and codes.
• Experience leading complex electrical projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Oversee complex construction and electrical infrastructure projects with design plan reviews.
• Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases.
• Plan future-ready design and operating strategies.
• Prepare and review electrical calculations and one-line diagrams.
• Lead MEP projects, manage budgets, and supervise subcontractors.
• Develop plans, specs and cost estimates with coordination among owners, disciplines, and clients.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Provide guidance and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Stay current with latest electrical engineering practices.
• Adhere to company policies and ethical standards.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
