WSP USA seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to join the Property & Buildings team in California, supporting projects from concept to close-out. The role emphasizes technical leadership, client engagement, and business development across K-12, higher education, civic facilities, and commercial developments.

The candidate will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, ensure compliance with IEEE/NESC/ANSI/NCEC/NERC standards, and contribute to proposal opportunities. California-centric travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of post-education electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with building electrical design in education/industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, permitting and codes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical infrastructure design for complex building projects.
• Review and approve electrical design plans for codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with regulators, sub-consultants, and clients.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Manage design and construction of electrical infrastructure projects.
