Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive revenue in residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, conduct daily sales calls, present proposals, and manage accounts from initial sale through project completion.

The role emphasizes building trusted relationships, providing product knowledge, and meeting monthly sales targets while traveling locally for site inspections and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
