Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to grow our residential and light commercial accounts with a proactive, results-driven approach. You will identify prospects, generate and pursue leads, provide tailored product recommendations, and manage accounts from initial contact through project completion.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in building-products sales, a valid driver’s license, and are capable of extensive local travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products/construction.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required for acting in company travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate & follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials based on customer needs.
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs at sale initiation.
• Travel to local job sites and assist customers from sale to project completion.
