Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive revenue in residential and light commercial markets. You will sell product lines, identify customers, and manage accounts from initial contact through project completion.

You will conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, and offer product knowledge to match customer needs while staying aware of market conditions and competition. Local travel is expected and compensation includes base plus commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at sale initiation by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
