Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive revenue for residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, conduct daily sales calls, present proposals, and close deals while building trusted relationships in the construction sector.

The role requires 3+ years in building products sales, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel locally. A performance-based compensation plan with base plus commissions and comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum age of 18.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customer needs.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
