Job summary

TruTeam is looking for a Sales Consultant to drive product line sales to residential and light commercial accounts. The role focuses on generating leads, conducting daily sales calls, and building trusted relationships with customers, especially in the construction materials space.

You will identify prospective customers, provide proposals, monitor market conditions, and work toward achieving monthly sales targets while ensuring a safe and positive customer experience from sale to project

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products or construction.
• Must be at least 18 years old; valid driver’s license if driving for work.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers; generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls; provide proposals and manage accounts.
• Offer product knowledge and recommend materials based on customer needs.
• Meet monthly sales targets; communicate safety programs to customers at sale initiation.
• Manage the customer experience from sale to project completion.
