Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking talented outside sales professionals who love building relationships and delivering world-class service to contractor customers, selling residential and commercial building materials, and strategically growing the customer base.

You’ll use exclusive sales tools, work on a base plus commission structure with a comprehensive benefits package, and have the chance to earn high commissions through performance.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business, Sales or related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Industry knowledge of building products is preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and pass MVR check.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; strong time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Use sales reports to recognize opportunities in buying patterns.
• Make cold calls to prospective customers.
• Schedule appointments with prospective customers.
• Follow up with customers and resolve service concerns.
• Provide training to customers on product lines and services.
• Assist customers in the credit application process and collect payments when needed.
