Job summary

Harris seeks a Building Automation Project Sales Representative to help customers improve facility operations by delivering practical building automation solutions. You will combine technical knowledge, consultative selling, and relationship building to shape projects and deliver long-term value.

You will evaluate HVAC and building systems, develop scopes and proposals, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, present solutions, and coordinate with Harris teams to enable successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of knowledge or experience with HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems.
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Ability to interpret drawings and jobsite conditions and develop practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop building automation project opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Translate facility needs into customized technical and financial solutions.
• Partner with customers, vendors, and Harris teams to create proposals.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and nurture relationships.
• Review drawings, site conditions, scope projects, and prepare compelling proposals.
