Job summary

Harris is seeking a Building Automation Project Sales Representative to drive revenue by selling innovative BAS solutions across multiple markets. You will manage existing relationships, proactively pursue new opportunities, and develop front-end project scopes that align with customer goals.

The role requires hands-on BAS/HVAC knowledge, the ability to read drawings, and the skill to translate assessments into cost-effective proposals while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and BAS with systems-level thinking.
• Ability to read construction drawings, submittals, and jobsite conditions.
• Experience turning assessments into cost-effective project solutions.
• Experience developing scopes, estimates, and professional proposals.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end planning and write accurate scopes of work for new/retrofit projects.
• Develop smart, cost-effective project solutions balancing performance and ROI.
• Build detailed estimates based on sizing, quantities, and costs.
• Lead consultative solution presentations to differentiate Harris.
• Maintain Harris CRM with accurate, actionable data.
• Schedule site visits and follow-ups to maximize results.
