Job summary

Harris is seeking a Building Automation Project Sales Representative to drive revenue by delivering retrofit and modernization solutions for building automation in assigned markets. You will manage existing relationships and develop new accounts, translating needs into proposals and pricing within approved margins.

The role requires strong HVAC/BAS knowledge, systems thinking, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients, engineers, and vendors to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Must have retrofit building automation experience, including modernizing or upgrading systems.
• Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Ability to estimate scope, costs, and resources from drawings/specs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop revenue from new and existing clients by delivering BAS solutions.
• Use CRM to maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and quotes backlog.
• Create customized solutions based on client needs and specifications.
• Prepare project pricing within company margins using SOPs.
• Maintain professional communication and build long-term client relationships.
