Job summary

Harris Company is seeking a Building Automation Project Sales Representative to drive revenue by developing solutions for BAS projects in assigned markets and by managing existing customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have HVAC and building automation knowledge, strong prospecting and solutions development skills, and a track record in customer relationship development. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in construction sciences, HVAC, or related field, or equivalent journeyman experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: maintain sales pipeline and quotes in Harris CRM; cross-sell controls, service and mechanical work; retrofit with plan and spec solutions.
• Develop Solutions: estimate sizes, distances, and quantities to meet specs; create customized solutions to prospects’ technical and financial needs.
• Proposals: develop proposals using Harris SOPs.
• Customer Relations: maintain professional communication with accounts and opportunities; resolve customer concerns to sustain relationships.
