Grand Casino Mille Lacs is hiring a Line Cook I to support daily kitchen operations, prep ingredients, and maintain food safety in a fast-paced environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, weekend shifts, and opportunities to learn cooking techniques alongside expert staff.

As a Cook I, you will follow recipes, set up stations, and work with the culinary team to deliver high-quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming Regulatory Authority license.
• ServSafe certification preferred within 1 year.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs during service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating.
• Set up and rotate stations for service; assist with buffet and events.
• Maintain clean, organized, sanitary workstations and proper food storage.
• Communicate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
