Job summary

Grand Casinos is seeking an entry-level Cook I to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and station setup. You will learn cooking techniques, follow recipes, and maintain quality while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, and ServSafe certification is preferred within one year.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or obtained within 1 year)
• Must be able to secure and maintain a Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA) license

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and station setup.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstations and follow food safety practices.
• Support kitchen operations across multiple outlets as needed.
• Complete opening/closing and side duties; assist with buffet, banquet events.
