Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking an entry-level Cook I to support daily kitchen operations, learn food preparation, and follow recipes in a fast-paced environment. You will work with culinary leadership and staff to ensure quality, safety, and hospitality for guests.

You’ll learn cooking techniques, food safety practices, and how to plate items while maintaining clean workstations and collaborating with the team for a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to secure and maintain a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or obtained within 1 year).
• No previous kitchen experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen operations through food preparation and station setup.
• Learn recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstations and follow safety regulations.
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanliness as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership and kitchen staff to deliver guest satisfaction.
