Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an Operations Leader to plan, organize, and supervise the flow of goods and processes across locations to deliver high service levels. This role provides leadership, develops staff, and drives cost control while meeting budget and compliance targets.

The successful candidate will manage 1–50 direct reports, maintain strong customer focus, and ensure safety and adherence to corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in the field/ industry required.
• 1 year in a leadership role required.
• CCS and/or Brokers license preferred.
• Required - MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner)
• Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.
• General knowledge of safety awareness within an operational division

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control input, movement, processes/sort, and output of operations.
• Provide leadership and direction promoting service-profit philosophy and staff growth.
• Manage direct expenses related to the area of control.
• Ensure service quality per KPIs/SQIs for area of responsibility.
• Lead staff and multi-location operations (1-50 direct reports).
• Manage revenue and payroll budgets and implement effective tactics.
• Enforce safety and security policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain reports, payroll, and personnel records per policy.
