Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead and develop a safety-focused team in a fast-paced facility. You will organize staff, direct sortation activities, and ensure adherence to policies while driving performance metrics.

You will mentor employees, conduct training on quality, safety, and dock procedures, and communicate daily goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience required in package handling, fulfillment center, warehouse, dock or related supervisory roles.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor a safety-conscious team.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All culture and initiatives.
• Hire, train, coach and evaluate staff; manage performance and discipline as needed.
• Direct day-to-day operations and staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Assign and manage employees to maximize operational quality and minimize costs.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates and daily goals to teams.
