Job summary

FedEx Logistics in the Memphis area is seeking an Operations Supervisor to plan, organize, and control input, movement, processes and output of the operations to ensure a high level of service. The role provides leadership and direction aligned with the people-service-profit philosophy and oversees teams.

The position manages budgets, KPIs, safety, training, and development of 1–50 direct reports, with a hybrid office/home work arrangement per policy.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in operations/logistics required.
• One year in a leadership role required.
• CCS and/or Brokers license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control input, movement, processes and output of operations to ensure service goals.
• Lead and develop a staff of 1–50 direct reports; align with people-service-profit philosophy.
• Manage direct expenses and a revenue/payroll budget according to divisional needs.
• Ensure KPIs and safety policies are followed and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain reports, payroll, schedules, and performance reviews per policy.
• Coordinate training, discipline, and development of team members.
