Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks a Distribution Operations leader to direct continuous improvement across Air & Ocean, FTZ, and cross-border activities. You will plan operations, supervise a team, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while driving cost efficiency.

The role involves coordinating large projects, maintaining inventory accuracy for 50+ clients, and communicating with customers to preserve service levels. On-site, with OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree preferred/equivalent in business.
• Minimum five years in distribution, warehousing, shipping, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of safety in an operational division.
• Advanced knowledge of CFS/FTZ operations and related regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control input, movement, process/sort, and output of operations.
• Direct procedures for inventory and storage of client merchandise.
• Supervise 1–7 direct reports and up to 40 indirect reports.
• Maintain contact with internal and external customers regarding service levels.
• Develop/review costs for distribution activities and ensure cost effectiveness.
