About the role

You want ownership and responsibility to help play a key role in ensuring the achievement of significant revenue growth targets that support Reworld’s objectives in a fast-paced and dynamic environmental and industrial services market. You have the energy, business insight, expertise in environmental services, “hunter” instincts, and people skills to consistently achieve meaningful growth targets while closely collaborating with cross-functional partners. Do you have experience managing geographically dispersed dynamic customers and sellers?

Reworld is looking to expand and grow our leadership team and is seeking a Broker Sales Director - East who will manage the relationship, selling, and growth strategy for key customer relationships. The Broker Sales Director leader will manage our Broker selling team to fill the open capacity in our Material Processing and Waste-to-energy facilities. The successful candidate will further develop and execute our sales strategy and be responsible for the profitability and sales budget. The candidate will report to the East Broker Sales Director and work closely with our Customer Care, Solutions Sales Managers, other Sales Directors, and Waste Approval Teams to ensure all aspects of the business are efficiently and effectively managed.

The preferred candidate will live in the Northeast (Boston, New York, North New Jersey, Long Island, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Wilmington, etc.)

Responsibilities include:

  • Grow New Business – Identify and develop business opportunities with our regional broker partners.
  • The role will be responsible for growing revenue and profitability at multiple Reworld Environmental facilities in the East Region.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our products and services and the value proposition for customers.
  • Result-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Forecasting and reporting – Will actively communicate sales activities and pipeline opportunities and drive CRM/Sales Force proficiencies.
  • Sales and Administrative Processes – Follow established contracts, credit, pricing, procedures, and documentation protocols. Drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Execute pricing strategy and overall sales plans.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, lines of business, and pricing structures and offers additional services as appropriate to assigned existing customers.
  • Utilizes the ES-directed CRM database on a daily basis, scheduling and documenting all activities such as calls, meetings, and proposals within the database.
  • Regularly meets with Broker Sales Director to review weekly customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals and status of key customer relationships.
  • Will perform other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales and account management in the Industrial Waste Management, Waste to Energy, Hazardous or Non-Hazardous waste industries strongly preferred with a proven track record.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to easily communicate the needs of the Reworld waste approval and facility operations processes to clients.
  • Ability to contribute both as a sole contributor and as a team member.
  • Ability to communicate the Reworld value proposition across all levels of the client organization.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated and technical industry.
  • Travel – mostly within region, but up to 45%
