Job summary

Mediacom Communications is hiring a Broadband Specialist I (Field Technician) to install and service cable TV and broadband for residential customers. You will drive a company van, represent Mediacom at customer homes, and complete installs, changes, and disconnections with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• No advanced degree required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and at various heights; comfortable in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Complete new installations and changes of service for homes.
• Install and test cable, broadband, and TV equipment.
• Drive a company vehicle to customer locations and maintain safety.
• Assist customers with questions and document service activities.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and follow FCC rules and company policies.
