Job summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking a Broadband Specialist I (Field Technician) to install and service cable television and broadband at customer homes. You will drive a company vehicle and handle installations, service changes, and special requests while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify cable service in single- and multi-unit homes.
• Perform new connects, reconnects, and outlet installations.
• Analyze picture quality and ensure acceptable TV signals.
• Read signal levels with a field strength meter and adjust as needed.
• Drive company vehicle and perform proper vehicle maintenance.
