Job summary

Mediacom Communications seeks a Broadband Specialist I (Field Technician) to install and service cable television and broadband at customer homes. You will drive a company van, perform installations, outages, outlet additions, and upgrades while delivering a positive customer experience.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are needed. The role may involve working evenings, weekends, and lifting up to 100 lbs, with on-the-job training and

Responsibilities

• Make customer drop installations complete from tap to antenna terminals.
• Perform new connects, disconnects, outlets, and service changes.
• Read signal levels and troubleshoot installation problems.
• Drive company vehicle and perform vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Generate revenue through information about product options and promotions.
