Job summary

Apex Engineering Group seeks a Structural-Bridge Engineer to join our team. The role supports bridge and structural projects from preliminary design through construction, with responsibilities to work independently and with others, reporting to the Lead Structural Bridge Engineer.

Occasional travel and on-site meetings are expected. Preferred location is Minnetonka, but the position is flexible to other Apex offices, including Fargo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 2+ years of bridge engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform bridge engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks.
• Independently write technical specifications, reports, and correspondence.
• Assemble plans for agencies to meet standards.
• Perform independent checking of design work by team members.
• Collaborate with technicians to assemble complete engineering plans.
• Attend in-person client and project meetings.
