Apex Engineering Group seeks a Structural-Bridge Engineer for flexible positioning across Apex offices, with a preference for Minnetonka. The role involves leading bridge design from concept through construction and collaborating with the project team.

Attendance at client meetings is expected. The candidate will contribute to calculations, specifications, and coordinated plans while maintaining project schedules.

Competenze

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, structural) with 2+ years of bridge engineering experience.
• The ability to become a licensed engineer to practice structural engineering for bridges within two years of hire is preferred.
• Experience with transportation projects and public agencies in MN/ND is preferred.
• Experience with in-service bridge inspection is a bonus.
• Proficient using Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required or the ability to obtain one.

Mansioni

• Independently perform bridge engineering calculations, analyses, and design tasks.
• Independently write technical specifications, reports, and correspondence.
• Assemble plans for agencies to meet standards and perform checks of teammates’ work.
• Attend in-person client and project meetings as required.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and project managers to pursue proposals.
