Apex Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Structural-Bridge Engineer to lead bridge and structural project work from preliminary design through construction.

The role involves independent and collaborative contribution, reporting to the Lead Structural Bridge Engineer, and attending key client meetings in person. Preferred location includes Minnetonka, with flexibility for other Apex offices; travel and overtime may be required to meet submittal deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, structural) required.
• 2+ years of bridge engineering experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must hold or be eligible for a professional engineering license.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform bridge engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks.
• Independently write technical specifications, reports, and correspondence.
• Assemble plans for agencies and perform independent design checks.
• Collaborate with technicians to produce complete engineering plans.
• Attend project meetings and communicate project status clearly.
