Job summary

Apex Engineering Group in Minnesota seeks a Structural-Bridge Engineer to join our multi-office firm. The role focuses on bridge design from preliminary through construction, with a preferred base in Minnetonka and flexibility for other Apex offices.

You will work as a key project team member and report to the Lead Structural Bridge Engineer, attending client and project meetings in person. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, 2+ years of bridge experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 2+ years of bridge engineering experience.
• Willingness to become licensed in bridge engineering in MN within 2 years.
• Experience with transportation projects and public agencies in MN/ND preferred.
• Proficient in Windows/Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform bridge engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks.
• Independently write technical specifications, reports, and other correspondence to various audiences.
• Independently assemble plans for agencies to meet standards.
• Perform independent checking of the design work of other team members.
• Attend in-person client and project meetings; travel may be required.
