The role emphasizes independent design, accurate plans, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. The position supports flexible office locations, with a preference for the Minnetonka area.

The candidate will report to the Lead Structural Bridge Engineer and participate in client and project meetings, applying strong attention to detail and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering required.
• 2+ years of bridge engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain professional licensure in bridge design within two years.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform bridge engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks.
• Independently write technical specifications, reports, and correspondence.
• Assemble plans for agencies to meet standards.
• Perform independent checking of design work by others.
• Collaborate with technicians to assemble complete engineering plans.
• Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Engage with project managers on technical proposals and pursuits.
• Attend meetings and communicate project updates clearly.
